2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> Formulating a decision on the concept of the right form of education has suddenly become an enormous political matter in Ghana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> The transition from the industrial age to the information age has caused a situation  whereby the quality of information you possess and what you do with it determines your economic value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> This has led to an increased importance for entrepreneurship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"446\" height=\"251\" src=\"https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/fcc5df89f239f0a194465fd63ad0aa54aef87b1a-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The paradigm shift to entrepreneurship now requires a new approach to learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> Consequently as a society, we ought to invest and inculcate the requisite skills into children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>  This should help them leapfrog Ghana\u2019s lag  in the development of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and level the playing field with respect to their counterparts in the future global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> So as a sequel to my article &#8220;Money Grows on Trees When Planted Right&#8221;, children should not be shielded from learning some important life skills and concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> It prepares them to hunt on their own when the time is right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> There is the growing crop of graduates who are venturing out on their own to create their own employment and employing others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> What skills do they possess? I say they are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> Inquirers &#8211; &#8216;<em>Feem\u0254 di\u014b oobi sane ts\u0254&#8217;,<\/em>  Ga, meaning, keep quiet; you\u2019re asking too many questions. That should not be the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> Children are by nature very curious about their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"256\" height=\"197\" src=\"https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/download-1-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3242\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Therefore we ought to nurture them to develop skills for inquiry by encouraging them to ask the right questions and look for appropriate answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> Thinkers &#8211; Let&#8217;s involve our children in critical thinking and allow them to be creative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The focus should be on problems in our immediate surroundings and let&#8217;s help them develop responsible solutions to fixing these problems at home, school or wherever they may find themselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/care-bears-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/care-bears-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/care-bears-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/care-bears-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/writersghana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/care-bears-2-425x239.jpg 425w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carergivers &#8211; A show of empathy, compassion and respect is  under threat in the Ghanaian society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br> The greatest entrepreneurs are those who see a need and provide a service to meet that need.
